Sean Culey

Chairman 'ISC' Europe 2015 & Member European Leadership Team - APICS Supply Chain Council

Sean Culey (CSCP, SCOR-P, FCILT) is a member of the European Leadership Team of the APICS Supply Chain Council and a recognized business transformation expert from the UK.  He focuses on helping companies define, develop and market compelling, customer focused value propositions – and implement the value chain strategies, processes and culture to deliver them.

He has 25 years of experience across multiple industries and geographies, having worked in Europe, the USA, Africa and Australia. He spent six years as founder and CEO of business consultancy ‘SEVEN’, where he led project teams that delivered significant transformation programmes for BAE Systems, Warburtons and Kubota.  He was also a Principal at global consultancy Solving Efeso, delivering Value Chain transformations for Saint Gobain, BAE Systems and Greene King.   Sean spent a decade working for Cadbury Schweppes, including 7 years as the Global Design Authority on what was the world’s largest SAP implementation, and their global Supply Chain troubleshooter.  Prior for this he worked for Sony, Redland Bricks, Dunlop Oil & Marine and Smith & Nephew.  He is also a Certified SCOR trainer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT), and an approved trainer in materials such as ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ and ‘The Speed of Trust’. 

Sean helps companies progress from functional silos into end-to-end, integrated, customer and profit-focused Value Chain teams that enable continual improvement and innovation through the alignment of Strategic, Planning, Management and Execution activities.  He is also very experienced in helping realize the business value from their SAP investments.  

Sean is a frequent keynote speaker around the world, as well as the author of business articles published in magazines such as The World Financial ReviewThe European Business Review and The Chief Executive Officer.  He currently has two books in development; ‘Transition Point: Revolution, Evolution or Endgame’ due late 2016, and his next book ‘Becoming Great (and staying there): Developing the Aligned, Innovative and Engaged Organization’ is due 2017.
